Zion National ParkWhile you’re enjoying yourself on a ride with us in southern Utah, we thought you’d like to know a little more about this area. Our rides take place in southern Utah and northern Arizona. Our operations are based in St. George, Utah (Saint George), which is known as the place where the Summer Sun spends the winter. The name St. George has historical significance and comes from one of the early settlers and leaders of the region. The city of St. George is a great place to base as you experience the many things there are to do and see in this region including; Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon North Rim, and Lake Powell.

Over the past 30 years St. George (Utah's Palm Springs) has become a year-round playground and getaway. In St. George (Saint George) you’ll find activities like golf, tennis, mountain biking, hiking, and a myriad of activities including, of course, excellent ATV Riding and tours through ATV Wilderness Adventures. St. George boasts some of the finest golf courses in the state of Utah, with two new championship courses added to the list in the past year alone.

Zion National ParkScenic attraction abound in this region and Snow Canyon State Park is just minutes from town. Snow Canyon is a composite of sandstone and volcanic lava and a must see for any visitor to the area. Zion National Park, one of America's crown jewel parks, is 45 minutes from St. George. Many of our ATV tours take us to scenic overlooks where you can see the many scenic attractions visible in all directions.

Zion National Park is a myriad of deep sandstone canyons, which extend over 30 miles from end to end and covers 229 square miles. The Zion Canyons were named by early Mormon settlers (members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) and many of the formations in the park have names from the bible. The park was established in 1909 as Mukuntuweap National Monument and expanded in 1919 to Zion National Park. The park is composed mostly of sandstone stained by the oxidizing of iron in the rock. Zion National Park with its many canyons contains 75 species of mammals, 271 birds, 32 reptiles and amphibians and 8 fish in the streams and rivers, which have carved these canyons.

Zion National ParkSt. George has also become a shopping Mecca with factory stores, malls, antique shops, gift shops and even large superstores. The St. George aquatic center is one of the finest in America, while the new Canyons softball complex is also one of the best in the Western United States. Recently St. George has spent 18+ million dollars on walking and biking paths, which follow scenic courses along the Virgin River, through communities and along roadways toward Snow Canyon State Park.

Mesquite Nevada is just 35 minutes away through the scenic Virgin River Gorge and Las Vegas Nevada is just 1 hour and 45 minutes away on Interstate 15. Salt Lake City, Utah is 4 hours to the North on I-15. Places like Brian Head Ski and Summer Resort, Bryce Canyon National Park, Grand Canyon National Park and Lake Powell are within a 1-3 hour drive. Whatever your purpose for visiting St. George, Utah, you find it to be one of the most beautiful and friendly places you've ever experienced. It is definitely the perfect place for an ATV ride.
